This week has been uneventful for my horses as I have been in Louisville for work since Tuesday.
I’m sad to be gone so long because I was really hoping for some rides on Houston and maybe a lesson to get us started back on track. I do however get to ride my friends awesome horse who is Annie’s twin. He’s a year older and I hope Annie is slaying the pregreen like he has been in the next 2 years (trying to be realistic!).
It’s really awesome to get to ride a horse so similar to Annie in so many ways. He’s actually a tricky ride though because I need to get better at switching from horse to horse. Can’t ride all horses like their Annie! I’m hoping to get to ride my friends jumper on the flat this weekend too.
Back to normal programming Monday hopefully!
I’ve never been very good at switching from horse to horse. The struggle is real.
I’m not great at switching back and forth between horses, although I will say the more I do it, the better I get!
I am terrible at switching horses. It takes a good 10 rides for me to even get comfortable.
What fun that you got to do some extra riding while traveling!
I’m awful at switching between different horses also. You’re not alone!
I find it difficult to switch between horses too. I wish I got more opportunity to do it.
