Country And Stable Reviews

A few months ago I got some goods from Country & Stable. If there’s one thing I have a weakness for it’s great customer service and fairly priced quality items. Country and Stable definitely offers that and I find myself scouring the site regularly.

The first items I got from them that I want to review are a Jack Murphy Cotswold Coat, a Bucas Power Cooler, and a Pampeano Collar. A little something for human, equine, and canine!

First up is the Jack Murphy Cotswold Coat!

Cost: $87

Pros: This coat is the perfect weight for spring and fall. It is light enough to be great for a warmer day but has wind breaking material so you won’t get chilled or wet. When I was pregnant this was my go to for months. For those of you that have been to Rolex… err “Kentucky 3 Day Event” when it’s super wet and chilly and didn’t have the right gear… this is the ultimate coat for that.

Cons: It isn’t the most flattering design. That said I didn’t want a fitted rain coat and prefer that this coat leaves me free to move and layer underneath as needed.

Bottom Line: I would buy this coat again. I’m actually considering buying another in the shorter style. I wish I had a picture of me wearing this to share but my super pregnant self wasn’t all about photos and it’s so hot now that I probably won’t wear this again until the fall.

Next up is the Bucas Power Cooler!

Cost: $93

Pros: Like pretty much every Bucas item I have seen this cooler is very well made. It is my first choice for home and shows. It wicks water and sweat away very quickly and air dries fast between uses. Another awesome feature is the “snap lock” front closure which is almost like a magnet. It’s not a necessity but makes throwing this cooler on and off even more simple. I love this cooler so much that I have more than one!

Cons: It isn’t the fanciest looking cooler and there aren’t a lot of color options.

Bottom Line: If you want a well made classy looking functional cooler this is the one for you. It’s light weight, easy to clean, and affordable.

Last but not least is the Pampeano Collar!

Cost: $40

Pros: This collar is super cute while still being well made. I chose the color pattern above for my frenchie Stella and it looks adorable on her. She’s been wearing this collar constantly and it’s held up beautifully. I really appreciate the leather quality on this collar as so many dog collar brands use very stiff and plastic feeling leather.

Cons: My only complaint with this collar is that the ring to attach a leash is very small. Even with a tiny snapped leash I found that it was hard to get my leash unsnapped quickly. I’m not sure if this would be the same case with a larger collar size though.

Bottom Line: If the leash attachment on larger collars is also bigger I would consider buying one for each of my other dogs. This collar is clearly well made and will last based on what I have seen so far!

If you haven’t looked at the selection Country & Stable has to offer I would definitely suggest you do. This is a shop with reasonable prices, an awesome catalog of products, and fast shipping!

That coat would probably make me look pregnant LOL but it looks like it would be great against the elements.
And oh my god what pretty colors on that collar. So cute on the pup.

I have one cooler and never ever use it. So i dont need another (unless I actually START RIDING AGAIN ONE DAY) HA But i do like the functionality of that cooler. Even if it is not snazzy 🙂

I love that collar on Stella!

That coat looks great for wet weather! I haven’t seen the Bucas coolers in person, but they look like they are functional and good quality. Good to see you blogging again. 🙂

I’m so glad to see a good review on the power cooler. I just purchased a used one for Emi. I like that stuff doesn’t stick to it!
